The SSA has been made aware of fraudsters targeting seafood suppliers across the country in a sophisticated scam.
This caller will possibly claim to be a new business with a courier van ready for a quick product collection. They are usually looking for large quantities of salmon, halibut, turbot and seabass. The caller seems very knowledgeable about the industry.
They will perhaps offer a small downpayment on the first order – we believe this is a stolen card.

Police have been notified.
