Jean Meikle at the SSA played a big part in this success, she spent time with the Supervisors and they responded really well, gaining a new found confidence in their role, adding to their existing knowledge and experience.
Our Quality System also needed strengthening and improving and Jean helped us with this too. All of the team have benefitted from the SSA support.
We are delighted to have received another years SALSA Accreditation and we cannot thank the Scottish Seafood Association enough for their continued support.”
Laeso fish Ltd have received guidance over the last 18months, this has included staff mentoring and training, documentation, gap analysis and factory good manufacturing practice advice. Jean Meikle comments: “It has been a pleasure to work with the team at Laeso. Everyone has put in a lot of time and effort in to our weekly meetings.
