Rowett Institute Seeks Input on Salmon Produce

Researchers at Rowett Institute, with colleagues based in Scotland’s Rural College, are undertaking a study into the costs and opportunities for Scottish products with higher value status and the trade-offs between price premium and production costs.

They are interested in gathering interviewees’ perceptions of the production of salmon products, the main input and their relative importance, trading relationships, the pros and cons of quality and assurance schemes, the policy environment and networking bodies.  

The institute are seeking to interview food producers, marketers and consultants with experience of working with high value salmon products.
