The CEO has written to all SSA members to congratulate them for their input in keeping the MSC Group scheme on track and to a high standard.
Richard Wailes, from Control Union auditors, has commended that the audit was excellent and worthy of praise.
The SSA wishes to congratulate all members on passing the recent MSC Group audit.
The SSA’s in house Technical Training Manager Lynne Stephen has assisted the MSC group to achieve a successful audit in addition to providing training guidance to members.
The auditor shared this was first Group audit they had undertaken with zero non-conformances. That is a tremendous achievement considering the SSA audit is considered one of the more challenging Group audits in terms of requirements and scope.
The feedback received from MSC from the MSC auditor was extremely positive as it was noted that members had full understanding of the Standard and its requirements and evidence of good training.
The SSA were also pleased to hear that the auditor experienced a very positive attitude shown by all staff involved, with an emphasis of doing things right.
